An Instaturn (also called Instant Turn, Quickturn, Insta) is a method for turning around while maintaining almost all of Peppino's horizontal speed in the opposite direction, making it the second fastest possible method of turning around.
| To perform an Instaturn, while In Fast Walk, press BACKWARD+DASH on the same frame. Note that because FORWARD must be held to keep Fast Walking, you must switch between FORWARD and BACKWARD in a single frame. This is extremely difficult to do consistently, so (for humans) Instaturn is generally buffered using either Taunt or Pause.
