Updog is the act of preserving speed by uppercutting in places with low ceilings.
Peppino Variant
Updog is typically used as a variation of the Instaturn where instead of a grab, you do an Uppercut (also called Uppercut Insta).
| In this variation of Instaturn, you can switch direction mid-uppercut all the while holding down the run button, making it the easiest way to perform Instaturn. However, performing an uppercut will make you lose significant horizontal speed, making its application rather limited.
Updog is suitable in places with low ceilings and a fairly tall wall for you to climb onto and recover your speed fast. Discovered by Yottacat |
Noise Variant
Updog is similar as Noise except it can also be used to exit the tornado state while preserving most of your speed.
