Uppercut is a jumping attack performed by pressing GRAB while UP is being held. Holding JUMP while you Uppercut through an enemy grants you some extra height.
- Uppercutting from a standstill/walk will give Peppino 13.5 vertical speed, resulting in a higher jump than a normal Jump.
- Uppercutting while running/in the air will give Peppino 9.5 vertical speed.
Uppercut is not cancelable into any other action until Peppino hits the ground, with the only exceptions being using ladders or grabbing bombs.
Uppercuts have a number of weird properties that enable tricks such as Eric, High Jump, Updog, and Updoor.
