Neutral Shot is the act of letting go of both left and right (or holding both left and right) during the shotgun/minigun animation.
By doing neutral shots, you can maintain most of your speed. However, you will have to continue holding left or right before the animation ends, or else you will lose all of your speed.
Directional grab binds may be useful for this tech for the method without first letting go of directions, especially in combination with wallboosts for Noise.
