Don't Make a Sound is a Level in Pizza Tower.

While it was slow, it was possible to get an S rank in 1 lap by respawning and killing the toppin monsters in kidsparty_floor4_3. The combo system was patched after the Noise update, which makes this strat no longer possible.

Grab Slide from the entrance to get started. When starting the level from the lobby, Peppino will avoid the first Clownmato without pressing DOWN, but when you restart the level you gain control of Peppino one frame earlier, and with this timing you'll need a DOWN input to avoid him.

If you do the strat optimally, you will be able to slide under the final Clownmato in the room with DOWN without bumping him.

In Pizza Time this room is an autoscroller, as running at max speed will dodge all Clownmatos.

Make sure you're at 20 speed before sliding into the Patroller and under the ledge, then Jump up the ledges and through the metal block, trying to avoid wall runs since you're already at max speed. Don't worry too much about killing enemies, as you'll be coming back through this room at the end and will likely have to kill them then anyway.

Normal Time

All Difficulties - Any%

Run to the wall and optionally fast-fall down it, then run and Wall Jump up to the higher level, optionally Taunting between the walls to wake the Toppin Monster up. Jump through the Cheese Blocks and fall through to run to the door while the Toppin Monster destroys the outlets behind you to clear them for the escape.

Skill Differences:

  • Beginners should not Taunt here, as they may have trouble jumping through the Cheese Blocks quickly enough to avoid the Toppin Monster below
  • Intermediate players should Taunt here, as the Toppin Monster will break the outlets and allow them to build up more speed in the escape.
  • Experts should not Taunt here, as we actually prefer to be going slightly slower in the escape to perform the Toppin Monster dodge.

Pizza Time

Beginner - All Categories

Ground Pound in the screen transition and and land on the slope to get a speed boost. If the outlets have been destroyed, run straight through and Jump-Shoot the Toppin Monster then run out of the room. If they have not, jump over them and dive, then immediately shoot the Toppin Monster and run out of the room.

Intermediate - All Categories

This strategy allows you to avoid Taunting the first time you are in the room and avoid shooting the monster to conserve maximum speed.

After falling into the room, jump over the outlets through the gap, Dive onto the ground and immediately Jump and Dive to try to dodge the Toppin monster. You can usually time the second Dive based on when Peppino hits the second Patroller, but may need to adjust this based on your speed. If you Dive too early, you'll go straight into the Toppin Monster, but if you Dive too late, you'll bonk into the wall and get caught.

Note: Doing a neutral run (without holding left) will make this trick significantly easier to perform.

To unlock, in kidsparty_floor1_2, let the Patroller behind the door notice you without Taunting it, then get to the left of the plugs on the ground before the Toppin Monster wakes up. It will run into the outlets and break them. Careful not to follow him too quickly: he can still jumpscare you until he is added to your combo.

On exiting the secret, running up the wall is faster than hitting the present.

Easy - All Categories

A Grab Slide from the door will get you stuck in the mud, so either Jump Grab or Grab right then Cancel into a Grab Slide left to build speed.

The top-right corner of the room with the two cheeseslimes can be very annoying to deal with. A fast, easy strategy is to Superjump within the mud, touching the right wall, which will clear the left ceiling and let you Shinespark onto it to gain a ton of speed across the top of the room. The two forced drops are good places to perform a Wall Buffered Fast Fall, though the first one can be a little tight depending on how you reach it.

Easy - All Categories

Fairly straightforward. When you reach the Superjump, the lower you can Shinespark here the better, but if you hit the small ledge in the middle of the wall you will need to jump to avoid bonking, so it's better to start your Shinespark above that ledge. At the top of the room, use a Mach Cancel into a Grab Slide to quickly gain enough speed to break the metal block.

Intermediate - All Categories

At the end of the room, you can save a second by Wall Jumping onto the left wall and just barely gaining enough speed to break the metal block above instead of Mach Canceling up top. The timing here is a bit tight, but can be made consistent with practice.

Easy - All Categories

Taunt just before you go off the ledge (a Wall-Buffered Fast-Fall is tight but possible) to open the monster gate. Note that the Patroller will not notice you if you Taunt on the ground below, so you should do it before/as you go down. Once the door is open, try to perform a few Wall Runs on the small platforms to hit Mach 4 as fast as possible

At the end of the room, it is faster to go under the Jerome door than over. To do this, Grab-Slide off the edge before the door to reset Peppino's speed to 12, allowing you to hit the ground before the gap. (Discovered by Vlack)
