Chicken Bandito

When alerted, this enemy will begin running around, tossing explosive bones up into the air. These explosives can bounce from walls and will explode when they reach the ground.

Chicken bandito’s will jump periodically. These jumps are based on an inner timer: Wakeup animation for 26 frames.

  • Turn around, then run for 39 frames.
  • Jump with a fixed height.
    • Jumping on flat ground will result in 46 frames of airtime.
    • Jumping onto ground one tile up will result in 39 frames of airtime.
    • Jumping onto ground one tile down will result in 52 frames of airtime.
  • Run for 39 more frames.

Every 100th frame a candle is fired (Occasionally firing 1 frame earlier, why this happens is unknown). This attack timer is independent of the bandito's movement behaviour.

Some notes about the attack timer:

  • It is not affected by taunting.
  • It is not affected by being off-screen (More research needed).
  • It is paused when in dizzy state, resuming after their wake-up animation.
