Enabling Debug Mode

Debug mode enables the developer console, from which you may access many commands that may prove helpful in practicing.

  • Right click the game on Steam and click “Properties…”.
  • In the General tab, look for “Launch Options” and type “-debug”.
  • Close the window and start the game. If you followed the instructions correctly, you’ll now be able to pull up the developer console ingame by pressing F5.

Practice Mod

A mod for the game developed by Stack Man which provides many conveniences to the Debug Menu, as well as adding several shortcuts and extra functions to make practicing even more convenient. You may download the mod here. To run the mod, the Pizza Oven mod manager is required.

Debug Mode Commands

To pull up the console press F5.

Command Effect
alltoppins Gives you all the toppins in the level
noclip Allows you to fly around the stage and through walls. Useful to quickly move through a room or getting unstuck.
panic Triggers the escape sequence - It’s Pizza Time!! (Note that this command will turn the Hub into The Crumbling Tower of Pizza if used there)
player_room [Room Name] [Door] Teleports you to the specified room, in front of the specified door.

Room Name is composed of the level’s codename, followed by an underscore and then a number (for example: medieval_1).
The names of every room can be found in each page for its corresponding level (Go to List of Levels).
Door is a letter (A, B, C, etc.). If such door does not exist, you may become stuck and need to use noclip to get out.

Examples:
player_room entrance_1 A
player_room tower_3 A
player_room medieval_1 A


player_set_state states.X Force Peppino into the specified transformation or go back to normal.

Replace 'X' with any of the following:

  • normal
  • cheesepep
  • knightpep
  • firemouth
  • ratmount (Gustavo without Brick)
set_game_speed [FPS] Forces the game to run at a specific speed instead of the standard 60fps. This is particularly useful if you want to practice the button sequence at a certain section.

Practice Mod Shortcuts

DEFAULT BINDS:
F1: Reload Room
F3: Load Last Room
F2: Show Stats and Input (Press Twice for more Info)
F4: Noclip
F5: Debug Menu
F6: Last Command
F7: Give Key
F8: Give Gerome
F9: Show Collision
F10: Give Shotgun
F11: Give Satan's Choice
F12: Change Taunt Index
V: Spam pause button
~: Mach 4 Speed
Tab: Autocomplete
pgup: Pogo Noise

SAVESTATES:
0-9: Load Savestate
Shift + 0-9: Save Savestate

Binds Functional only in 1.9d and below:
Ins: Pause/Advance Frame
Del: Unpause
